MAST 2005
To give you some background, I am at the moment involved in a project in Clondalkin with a group of travelers, or rather ex-travellers as South Dublin Council are in the process of building permanent housing for the residents of the 35 mobile homes on the site.
I have been asked to document the people on the site at the moment, showing some of their fears, ideas, hopes and memories. I have also been asked to photograph the site that they are on and the new houses they will be moving to.
Again I feel that this project is indicative of the new Ireland and in some ways the loss of part of the community and part of the history of this country.
